Bangladeshi veteran actor Fazlur Rahman Babu is immensely popular in the Bangladeshi media as an actor as well as a singer. Babu started his acting career with Baishakhi Natya Ghosthi in Faridpur in 1978. At the same time Babu was an employee at Agrari Bank, Faridpur. When he transferred his job from Faridpur in Dhaka, he joined Mamunur Rashid's Aranyak Natyadal theatre group. As a powerful actor Babu performed in Nankar Pala, Pathar and Mayur Shinghashan. He is a natural actor and theatre made him a veteran actor.

When he Joined ‘Aranyak Natyadal’ of Dhaka in 1989 he saw singing is very necessary for him because of some stage performance. So he learnt basic knowledge about music. As a singer, veteran actor Fazlur Rahman Babu came to audiences attention when he sung ' Nithua Pathare' in Gias Uddin Salim's movie 'Monpura'.
